- Spend time at the Montréal Biodome, the only one of its kind in the world. It features four distinct ecosystems in the former Olympic Games Velodrome that were designed to represent the four most beautiful habitats in North, Central, and South America.
- Relax in Parc La Fontain, one of the city’s largest and most popular parks. Warm-weather activities include free performances and activities at the open-air theater, tennis, ball fields, sand volleyball, and picnicking. Two man-made ponds serve as paddle-boating spots in the summer and ice skating rinks in the winter. Also doing double duty are paths that accommodate bicyclists and walkers in the summer and cross-country skiers and snowshoers in the winter.
- Visit the Montréal Tower, the world’s tallest inclined tower. It rises 575 feet into the sky and leans out at a 45-degree angle. Take a trip to the top on a 2-story glassed-in cable car where you will be treated to a panoramic view.
- Explore the world-renowned Fairmont Queen Elizabeth Hotel, which has been welcoming royalty, heads of state, and celebrities for over 50 years, including Prince Charles, the Dalai Lama, Mikhail Gorbachev, Joan Crawford, John Travolta, and Mikhail Baryshnikov. Also, in 1969, John Lennon and Yoko Ono held their famous “bed-in” here, where the song Give Peace a Chance was written and recorded.
